Law enforcement agencies from the United States, United Kingdom, France and Spain, have announced that they have made arrests and taken down servers belonging to both LockBit who are a Ransomware as a Service (RAAS) provider and Evil Corp who are hackers from the Russian Cyber Underground.
The co-ordinated action has seen various arrests made as well as sanctions applied to individuals currently residing in Russia and a number of hardware servers have also been seized.
